So I didn't realize my red jacket I got from Forever21 was this long until I wore it with shorts. It looked like I had nothing on underneath! whoops...

In Borders looking at Recipe books

We decided to go to Borders for a bit where I took pictures of a couple recipes in the books that I thought were interesting. If they turn out good I think I'll buy those books! Then afterwards we went to Loehmans and just tried on stuff and took pictures of the things we couldn't have.

 After going through my closet and setting aside a big trashbags amount of clothes I found this old dress and decided to wear it! I'm also wearing brown booties I got from DSW. I need more brown footwear in my life.

It was raining so hard.  Pouring at times. But it was actually nice out!

I hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving holiday. Eat lots. I'm going to attempt to cook/eat my first lamb! I don't really like turkey and they didn't have any ham so lamb it is!

That's Life

I've had a very chill weekend. Played Monopoly on friday night and hung out with some people I havn't hung out with in a month or two. It was nice chilling with some of my girlies again. 

I was winning at one point. I had board walk, parkplace, and three of the railroads.

It's been a pretty chill weekend. Finished season 1 of community watched most of The Pacific. Now I need to get back into the real world though. I bought lamb for thanksgiving. Hopefully that goes well. If not then I always have my homemade afredo pasta!

Last few days...

Happy Weekend Before Thanksgiving!

Guess what? I saw the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows! I got their with my friend Leah at around 7pm. We put all our stuff down to save seats for our friends and when she started studying for her test I played on my ds!

I signed up for all my classes for next semester! My schedule is as follows...

Monday - 6-9 pm Body Arts (Art History)
Tuesday - 9-4 pm Lighting Studio Practice (Studio)
Wednesday - 9-4 pm Advanced Artist Books (Studio)
Thursday - 1-4 pm Wandering Uterus (Social Science)
                   6-9 pm Philosophy Greek and Roman (Soc Science)
Friday - 9-4 pm Lighting Fundamentals (Studio)

I'm going to drop one of my liberal arts classes though. Whichever one is more boring etc. We'll see I guess. Thanksiving is this next week. My father had some surgery on a muscle tumor he had so him and my mother will be staying in my apartment for Thanksgiving, except I'm already having a guest stay with me, a friend I havn't seen in 3 years. That and my other friend is leaving her pup here. Add onto that my pup and myself and you have a lot of people staying in my one bedroom apartment. 
Will have to make do though..

Introduction

Hey everyone!

This is me trying to act cool with my winter hat on inside.

So I've decided to move here just because I hear that it is much easier to update here and I also wanted to be able to friend people who I always visit on blogspot anyways! My name is Christine and I'm currently a 4th year student at SAIC (School of the Art institute of Chicago) which is real scarey! I have one semester left plus 1.5 credits I have left over...lame.
The reality of ending school and going to have to find a job is really hitting me. I am terrified. I have no job experience whatsoever! Not from lack of trying either. Every time I apply somewhere they say that they are looking for someone with job experience. But how am I supposed to have previous job experience if no one gives me a try? So that is very frustrating. 
I also have to remember that I will have to move out from the loop (downtown area of Chicago) and probably head up north on the red line. I've already been looking for places on craigslist. I have found some beautiful three bedroom apartments (I will most likely be moving in with people). with island kitchens, floor to ceiling windows in the living room, refurbished marble countertops, wood floors, and 400 dollars for each roommate! I just hope more places are open like this in April and May cause that is when I will be moving!

Enough about the Future though... I am currently 21 and will be gaining a year in January. I am single and love my adorable puppy Rufio (yorki bichon mix), who turned a year old in October. I am half korean and half american and I love to cook, eat, sleep, read books off my kindle, play my ds or wii, and cuddle!

I think I'll use this blog as a personal journal and to also post pictures of what I love etc. 
I don't really know what else to say... so that's it for now I guess!
